Remember the space race sometime in the last century between the two world superpowers? Well, Shane Crozier was inspired by that and came up with the Sputnik LED lamp and Storage Chest that resembles the satellite that went into space back in 1957. This concept will come with a quartet of LED antennae which can pivot on a universal joint, allowing it to fill a space while fitting into crevasses. As for the base area, it offers a convenient storage solution for Ikea lovers, and remains stable thanks to the built-in power adapter. We wonder when will such a design hit the market.
