Crushing cans makes more space in the public recycling bin, but what about those who are at home and have a household that consumes a whole lot of can drinks and food? The Automatic Aluminum Can Crusher might come in handy, as it will run on an 18V DC power tool battery (and/or an AC adapter), capable of chomping through 40 cans on a single full charge without missing a beat. All cans will be crushed to 40% their original volume. Too bad this concept doesn’t look likely of making its way to the masses anytime soon unless someone wants to take up the task of manufacturing a working prototype.
