Will we be getting 3D space in a future iPhone or the upcoming iSlate Apple tablet? Well, a patent filing related to Apple as far back as 2008 might provide information on such a possibility. Basically the patent details the finer details on how it will use multiple fingers to get around in 3D space and manipulate 3D objects. There’s no indication that Apple is planning to use this patent filing, but it’s certainly fun to dream of some of the various possibilities for a future iPhone design, don’t you think? It looks like we’ll be doing a lot more than just pinching and zooming.
