Designer Dat Huynh is brilliant for coming up with a hybrid idea of a crutch and a push scooter. Dubbed the Stryder, this device was designed to assist people with non-load bearing injuries to get around quickly and safely. The overall design does beg the question – how does one transform the scooter into a crutch without having something to hold onto? Perhaps it is electronically powered as all you need to do is press a button or something.
