Sprint BlackBerry Bold 9650 launched

Sprint has finally rolled out the BlackBerry Bold 9650, where it will cost you $199.99 with a new 2-year contract, which is a good $50 more expensive than the Palm Pre Plus on AT. Which one would you go for if you want to consolidate your social life as well as friends in a single device? This new smartphone will sport 512MB RAM which is much more than the BlackBerry Bold 9700 while retaining the QWERTY keyboard that has proved to stand head above shoulders compared to the other smartphones in the market (virtual QWERTY keyboards don’t count…). Great if you’re looking to upgrade to the next BlackBerry if you’re a die-hard fan, but otherwise you might want to keep your options open.
