The Tactile+Plus for iPhone and iPod touch that is being sold by Japan aims to make arcade gaming simple on either device. Looking like some sort of weird stickers, it is capable of letting you handle the latest games on the iOS platform such as Street Fighter with aplomb. Basically, you “glue” these on top of your iDevice touchscreen display, making it look like some sort of gamepad layout complete with the relevant tactile feedback to make it as accurate as possible. Heck, it will work with other touchscreen-based smartphones too, although how sensitive and relevant is it is another question to be answered. This is definitely not an Angry Bird peripheral candidate, if you can call it that.
