We do know that Nokia has decided to play it safe and preserve their future by working with Microsoft so that they will roll out Windows Phone 7 powered devices in the near future. We just have gotten word that Nokia might want to enter the tablet market on their own – which would mean MeeGo has some inroads for the future. I can only think of a tag line, “MeeGo and not WeGo” as a snub to Microsoft. Having said that, we will look at what kind of possibilities can be given birth from their own efforts. In addition to that, with Microsoft not expected to be ready with a tablet platform before the end of 2012, it is same to assume that any hypothetical tablet would be based on the full Windows OS. Nokia does seem to be at the end of their rope at the moment, so hopefully whatever they come up with will bode well for their bottomline and customers.
