Reading e-books are fine and dandy, but what happens when you want to up the ante during the reading experience? This is where Paranga comes in – it offers the ability for an e-book reader to experience tactile feedback whenever going through those virtual pages of text. To put it mildly, the Paranga intends to simulate the sensation of turning pages or skipping ahead when reading printed books, and this is made possible through a rotating roller that is finger powered. It looks far from finished at the moment and will definitely need a whole lot more work, but we don’t think that this will be a best seller in any case since it is more of a filler device, and is as useful as one of those electronic bubble wrap poppers.
