Incipio introduced the original Feather iPad 2 case awhile ago – a 1mm thick and lightweight case designed to keep your iPad 2 safe without adding any unnecessary bulk to the tablet. One of the problems with the original Feather case is that it didn’t allow users to utilize Apple’s innovative Smart Cover that was introduced at the launch of the iPad 2.
They have just announced that they will be launching a new iPad 2 case that takes care of this problem. Called the Smart Feather iPad 2 case, it features the same type of protection provided with the first Feather iPad 2 case, but this time there are cutouts that allow users to attach the Smart Cover to their iPad without having to remove the protective case. This will give protection to both front and back of the iOS tablet.
No word on pricing, but if it follows the price of the original feather, you can expect it to cost around $34.99, maybe slightly more. The Smart Feather is expected to arrive in May. Head over to Incipio’s website for more details about this iPad 2 case.
