Toyota Scion 2011 theme for jailbroken iPhones removed from Cydia

Remember Toyota’s Scion 2011 theme that was made available for jailbroken iPhones? It turns out that theme has recently garnered quite a bit of buzz online despite it being available since February. Now it has been reported that Toyota was asked by Apple to remove the theme from Cydia, which they have complied. It looks like the theme has struck a chord within Apple as they told Toyota to cease marketing aimed towards jailbreakers. Toyota, not willing to abandon their good relationship with Apple decided it was better to remove the theme, and that’s what they did. I guess we won’t be seeing anymore similar moves by other big names soon unless Apple does a 180 and changes its views on jailbreaking.
