PDP unveils TRON inspired game controllers

Fans of TRON will be pleased to hear that PDP (Performance Designed Products) the final collector’s edition TRON controller for both Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Sony’s PlayStation 3 gaming console. The design for both controllers is based off Gem, a Siren program from TRON: Legacy film.

As you can see in the photo above, this resulted in gaming controllers with a pearl color finish, mist grey handles, crystal white light-up accents. The PlayStation 3 will be the first wireless Collector’s Edition TRON controller for the console, while the Xbox 360 version will be a limited Edition TRON controller by PDP and will come with vibration support.

If you’re interested in picking up either version, they are priced at $49.99 each and are up for pre-order at PDP’s website with an estimated shipping date set for mid January 2012.
