HTC logoHeads up enterprise users, if you’ve enjoyed HTC’s smartphone and tablet offerings from a regular consumer’s standpoint, you might be pleased to hear that the Taiwanese company has recently entered into a new partnership with IBM with plans to enter the enterprise market to help bolster their sales. This partnership was demonstrated by IBM executives who showed off their smart business applications running on HTC’s smartphones and tablets.

With this new partnership, HTC is expected to be working closely with IBM to ensure that their products will come with the features and compatibility of IBM’s business software, and given how these are enterprise-targeted products, emphasis and focus will also be placed strongly on the security of said devices. We’re not sure what sort of products this new partnership will bring about – will HTC be launching new enterprise-specific products, or will they be re-releasing currently available products with modified software and features for enterprise users? We guess we will have to wait and find out.
