Parrot ASTEROID CK makes driving safer

[CES 2012] Parrot has just announced the launch of the ASTEROID CK, a Bluetooth hands-free system with a 3.2″ color screen. The device uses a 3G key or pairs up with your smartphone via Bluetooth or USB to connect to the internet to bring you geolocation services, driving assistance solutions, and plays your music (from the web radio or “music on demand”).

The system also has voice recognition technology which lets you make hands-free calls, or even search for music on your connected device, which makes accessing your in-car entertainment a safer experience. A wireless remote control is also available for those times when it’s too noisy to speak or the system is having trouble recognizing your speech. The Parrot ASTEROID CK will be available sometime this year – pricing to be confirmed.
