While Kickstarter is a great place to make sure that your good idea becomes great as it materializes in real life, not all of those actually take off. I think the TidyTilt has a chance though, where some have described it to be a miniature version of the Smart Cover for the iPhone. Compatible with either the iPhone 4 or the 4S only, it seems to have a whole lot more brains compared to the Smart Cover, where you can turn it into a kickstand whenever you need to type with an external keyboard, and also to watch movies without cramping up your hand as you hold the iPhone for hours on end.

Zahra Tashakorinia and Derek Tarnow are the brains behind the TidyTilt, as these design students from Chicago have managed to pick up over $50,000, which is $40,000 more than what they originally wanted. Those who still want to support this project can do so, where a $19 contribution will net you a TidyTilt as you select from one of four colors the moment it begins to ship.
