Nikon has updated their my Picturetown image sharing and storage service, introducing an entire slew of new functions so that you are able to enjoy more options where storing and sharing your digital images are concerned. The latest version will enable you to be more tightly integrated with Facebook – and this too, will also include the ability to play back Motion Snapshot files. Some of the Facebook updates comprise posting links to shared albums straight to Facebook, relying on your list of Facebook friends in order to send links to shared albums as well as posting or playing Motion Snapshot files from your Facebook account. Apart from that, Gold Account members also have new features to play around with, where one of them include password protecting your shared albums. Not only that, you are able to set permissions for downloading photos from shared albums, in addition to introducing permissions for downloading photos at their original size. I guess with an even greater degree of empowerment for the end user, my Picturetown deserves more than just a passing glance.
