Home > Apple > White plastic MacBook reaches end of life status

It is the end of the road for the signature white plastic MacBook from Apple, after Apple has notified their resellers that Cupertino will no longer make available that model to educational institutions around the country. For the general public, this 13″ computing device was already deemed as “dead” since last July, but it remained to be in stock to schools for the past half year. Guess all good things need to come to an end, so the MacBook has finally arrived at the End Of Life status. Makes sense, as it is no point being nostalgic and manufacture older devices that will only get more and more expensive in terms of cost, compared to the latest Macbook model. Students who want a Mac might want to grab whatever MacBooks there are left in the market – wait any longer, and you will just have to dip your pockets into the sometimes dubious second hand market.
