Earlier today we reported about the Galaxy S2 Ice Cream Sandwich update being released on March 10th – well it looks like the announced date was wrong. According to a tweet from the official Samsung Twitter account, the date was mistakenly posted by Samsung Philippines. So for those of you who were ready to receive the update with arms wide open – it looks like you’ll have to play the waiting game again.
No new release date was given for the update but let’s hope it arrives sooner than later. After all, the Galaxy S2 is Samsung’s main cash cow in the smartphone world – the wouldn’t want to disappoint its millions of users.
