There has been plenty of speculation going on concerning the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3, but nothing really concrete has been set just yet. However, we have gotten whiff that the Galaxy S3 could very well be the first device from Samsung’s stable of smartphones to come with its very own patented wireless charging system – right out of the box, too, for added convenience, at least according to DDaily. This wireless charging system is of the magnetic induction variety, where it will be able to juice up your device within a 1 to 2 meter radius from the charging station. At point of publishing, a fair number of Android OEMs and major accessory manufacturers do support the Qi wireless charging standard, and with Samsung making a move for their own system might eventually end up as a good thing despite fragmenting the already exclusive niche as it paves the way for one to live in a Samsung ecosystem of devices without having to worry about carrying another charging cable ever again. We do hope to keep our ears peeled for new Samsung Galaxy S3 rumors.
