A couple of days ago we reported on a certain Nikon D600 DSLR camera. This particular camera is rumored to be an affordable full frame DSLR but unfortunately at that time, details of the camera were not known. While the details and existence of the camera have yet to be officially confirmed, it seems that the rumors are back and this time with additional details regarding the D600. As far as price is concerned, the rumors are suggesting that it could be priced at $1,500, a pretty affordable figure for a full frame DSLR camera.

It will also reportedly feature a 24MP camera, an internal AF motor which means that it will only be compatible with AF-S lenses, HD video capture capabilities, and is expected to be announced by Photokina 2012, which means that an official announcement should be arriving before September. It has also been said that a low-priced f/4 lens will be announced alongside the D600. We’ll maintain our skepticism for now until more concrete proof can be gathered, but we are definitely interested at the possibility of a full frame DSLR which could cost $1,500.
