mac_drag_drop1

The team responsible for Dropbox the cloud-based storage service has handed users a new and interesting feature and it will be on all users on Chrome, Firefox and Safari users. Internet Explorer users on the other hand have been left out of the mix this time. Reportedly, if you are a Dropbox user, you will now have the ability to just drag files right into the appropriate folders and drop them there.

This added feature might not seem like much but when you think about it, you will notice what is so interesting. Imagine for a moment users on a public computer that need to share a file with someone without having to click on the desktop app of clicking through your various folders and choosing ‘upload’. For this added service, no extra plug-ins or add-ons will be required, only a login, a click, a drag and a drop. Let us know what you think about this new feature with a comment below.
