For the past few months, Dropbox has been testing out a Family storage plan. However, the good news is that if you’re keen on checking out the plan, you’ll be pleased to learn that Dropbox has since launched it where at $17 a month, you’ll be able to allow up to six users to share the cloud storage at once.

According to Dropbox, “Our Family plan keeps up to six members connected in one organized place with 2,000 GB (2 TB) to share photos, videos, PDFs, and even Google Docs. Each member can access the Family Room, a shared folder that allows every member to stay up to date on important family business and the latest recipe creations. Everyone has their own separate account for personal files—and it’s all under one plan with one bill.”

Now, Dropbox does offer free accounts but those are limited to 5GB per account, and you’d need to pay if you want more storage. The company’s Dropbox Plus plan, which is the cheapest  plan, is priced at $9.99 a month. This Family plan will cost less than buying two individual Dropbox Plus accounts, plus you get to share it with your friends or family members.

It will also give users access to Dropbox’s Passwords, which is the company’s password management tool that can store passwords and sync them across multiple platforms and devices.
