Ubisoft’s famous Rayman Origins might be looking at a sequel after an anonymous informant told the folks over at Kotaku about some pictures and questions that were contained within a survey by marketing firm Arkenford. Ubisoft has been known to be the firm’s regular client in the past. From the screenshots provided by the tipster, it seems that if true, the sequel to Rayman Origins could be one filled with dragons, ghosts and greek gods.

The most famous aspect about the game for many would be the gameplay and if Ubisoft can come up with a way on integrating the very same gameplay with improvements into a package filled with elements of ghosts, dragons and mythology, it seems like a recipe for success again since Ubisoft has stated that the original game from 2011 turned a profit for the company. From the images that were sent, it would seem that the alleged sequel retains the same four-player drop-in/drop-out gameplay that was on the original game.

But we have to remember that for all the images and excitement that surrounds the title, it could just as well add up to nothing. Arkenford is a marketing survey firm and with marketing what you see might not be what you would get. This could also be the result of an overzealous fan looking to push the idea of a Rayman Origins into the limelight. But then again, if it is true, and Ubisoft does come out sooner or later to confirm this rumor, the gaming world will rejoice again.
