An analyst has claimed that the iPad Mini will be as real as the corporeal world which you see around you, touting that production for the smaller sibling’s display to the iPad will begin sometime in August. Attached with NPD DisplaySearch, I guess some factory somewhere around the world will be churning out a 7.85″ display in bulk pretty soon. Paul Semenza, analyst over at NPD DisplaySearch, said, “We expect panel production to start in August, with production ramping up to high volumes (more than a million units per month) in the fourth quarter.” There is an unspoken understanding that the 7.85″ display panel churned out would see action on the iPad Mini, and no other tablet device.

Having said that, there are also whispers going around that the iPad Mini would launch sometime in September, so that would jive pretty well as the dates all add up. What do you think – will there actually be a real iPad Mini when the time comes, or is it just pie in the sky?
