MotoX-512x460A little over a week ago, a rumor surfaced which suggested that the upcoming Moto X would see a “late August” release, and according to the sources of Droid-Life, it looks like Motorola and Verizon’s plans have not changed. According to their source, they have essentially “reconfirmed” the fact that the Moto X will be launching on the 23rd of August, at least as far as Verizon’s version of the device is concerned, and with only a day to go before the device is officially announced, we guess we won’t have to wait too long to find out if the launch date is true. Of course there is the possibility that their sources are wrong, as previous rumors in the past have even gone as far as suggesting a 1st of August release. However a recent leaked US Cellular roadmap has revealed a possible 26th August release for the carrier, so having it released on the 23rd for Verizon would not be a stretch of the imagination. Either way be sure to check back with us on the 1st of August for all the Moto X details!
