assassins-creed-endingAll good things must come to an end, unless you are George Lucas and his Star Wars franchise (which happens to have been bought up by Disney that caused quite a shocker when it happened), who figured out that each generation will need a new bunch of Star Wars toys to play with, never mind if the characters in there are a poor excuse of an alien lifeform such as the ever irritating Jar-Jar Binks. How about the Assassin’s Creed gaming franchise? While there has yet been immediate plans to end the franchise, Ubisoft already knows just how the Assassin’s Creed story will end should the day arrive. Of course, I am quite sure that there is enough room to make changes between now and that fateful day, since nothing is ever really set in stone.

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag game director Ashraf Ismail touted that there has been a rough outline of the ending narrative which has been written. He said, “The brand team that sits on top and is filled with writers and designers concerned with the series’ overall arc. So there is an overall arc, and each iteration has its place inside this. We have an idea of where the end is, what the end is.” Great, now if only the world would be able to dive into a similar idea, no? At least we do know that there will be three more titles in the franchise to come.
