xbox-one-unboxingWe’re sure that there are some gamers who will be getting their hands on the new Microsoft Xbox One console, but at the same time there will also be gamers who might be holding off and keeping their Xbox 360, at least until reviews are out, prices have dropped, and when more games are available, but if you were hoping to be able to voice chat with your Xbox One buddies via the Xbox 360 console, you’d be out of luck. According to Major Nelson, he revealed that Xbox One owners will not be able to voice chat with Xbox 360 owners. While he was not able to provide a concrete reasoning, he revealed that after checking with Microsoft, he found that due to a new wide bandwidth CODEC, both consoles will not be chat compatible. So, was anyone looking forward to cross-game chat compatibility between the Xbox One and Xbox 360?
