nokia-asha-503When October 22nd rolls around, one can more or less expect that in most parts of the world, folks would be on the lookout for a spanking new iPad as well as an iPad mini, but that date has yet to be patented by the folks over at Apple, so it is also fair game for other hardware device manufacturers to roll out their latest gadget on that date as well. Nokia of Finland is one of such companies, where they are tipped to make an announcement concerning the Nokia Asha 503 on October 22nd itself.

What you see above happens to be a press render leak from the folks over at @evleaks, where the press image does point to a device with a particularly stand-out design. According to Nokia, this particular design approach has been deemed to be “dual-shot”, since there are a couple of layers which the device’s body is made out of. There is a translucent outer one, and also a colorful inner plastic layer. It seems that the Nokia Asha 503 is set to be a touch-only device similar to one with a capacitive touchscreen display, and it will also run Twitter. No idea on how much it will cost though, but it should not be too pricey to begin with.
