The folks over at HTC figured out that a couple of years’ worth of Android updates might not be enough to keep purchasers of HTC devices in the U.S. happy, and chances are they have hit the nail on the head. This has led to the Taiwanese company introducing HTC Advantage, which happens to be a better version of its U.S. support policy that offers a whole lot more than what the boundaries of the standard issue warranty limits offer. Apart from operating system updates alongside additional cloud storage, the HTC Advantage program would also be able to replace one cracked screen for free – as long as it happens to be within the first half year of your ownership. Do bear in mind that you would be covered if only you purchase a HTC One series smartphone from today.
A cracked display on a smartphone is starting to turn out to be pretty normal, as the heart wrenching feeling is no longer that severe compared to the early days of a smartphone. As for the additional storage on Google Drive, you will be able to receive anywhere from 25GB more to 50GB for free, depending on the device that you decide to call your own.
