There are many different ways in which one can control the Xbox One console, such as through vocal commands and Kinect gestures, as well as through the Xbox One controller itself. Well what if you wanted something a little more traditional? Like a remote control, for instance? Well thanks to a listing on Amazon Canada’s website, a pre-order page for a certain Xbox One Media remote was sighted where the device (pictured above) was priced at $24.99 and revealed that the accessory could see a release on the 4th of March. The page has since been taken down, possibly due to the fact that it might have gone up a little earlier than expected.
The remote itself seems pretty barebones and does not appear to do more than just control the console with the basic functions, but we guess it can be pretty handy for those who would prefer using a remote to navigate the console’s entertainment features, or for those living in markets where vocal commands aren’t available yet. The Xbox One Media remote is not the only Xbox One accessory that Microsoft has planned at the moment as the company has revealed that they will also be releasing an Xbox One headset and headset adapter in the near future. So, who’s looking forward to an Xbox One remote control?
