We have heard that the upcoming LG G Watch is pegged for a June release in Europe later this year, and it does seem as though this niche market is starting to make its move to the mainstream, slowly but surely. LG too, does not want to miss out on the smartwatch bandwagon, which is why this “Android wear” smartwatch is touted to be integrated closely with Google Now, being in an “always on” mode.

The LG G Watch has been said to be the first wearable timepiece that will come with Android Wear. Although pricing details have yet to be confirmed, it does seem as though the LG G Watch is tipped to retail for the same price as that of the Samsung Gear 2, or at least, somewhere in the vicinity. This smart timepiece will be able to take in various kinds of watch bands, and is also waterproof, allowing you to wear it in the shower. Since it remains linked to Google Now, issuing voice commands might be the new novelty. Do enjoy a teaser video of the LG G Watch as shown above, and let us know whether you would be one of the first in your neighborhood to make a beeline for this particular piece of wearable technology.
