lg-g3-leakThe LG G3 is an upcoming flagship smartphone that has had its fair share of rumors as well as leaks, with the latest being its metal back cover and removable battery spotted. Well, here is another leak that could very well be the real deal at the end of the day, but on the other hand, it might be a false alarm. Regardless, this rumor of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor will be verified or debunked when the handset is officially announced, aye?

It seems that prototypes of the LG G3 have been going around that sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, but there does seem to be some room for the Snapdragon 805 chipset to make an appearance despite the fact that it has yet to do so in any available smartphone to date.

Perhaps this is why the LG G3 would be the perfect candidate for the Snapdragon 805 chipset to debut, considering it is the company’s (Qualcomm) highest performing chipset to date. After all, it would merely be a formality of history repeating itself as the Snapdragon 800 debuted alongside the LG G2 before. Perhaps all will be revealed at the May 27th event, or do we all have to agonizingly wait for a whole lot longer?
