unitiThere are probably plenty of users out there who owns an iPhone, iPad, and a Mac computer all at once. With the upcoming changes made to iOS 8 and OS X 10.10 Yosemite, this means that all your iOS and Mac devices will soon be able to start talking and syncing with one another more efficiently.

If you’re looking forward to those features, you might be interested in a Kickstarter project called UNITI. The UNITIis essentially a stand for a variety of your iOS and Mac devices, which you can see in image above. The stand will provide a platform for your iMac or MacBook Pro, whichever you prefer, and will also come with a clearing underneath it for you to slide your keyboard and mouse under to help save space.

It also features a front 3.5mm audio jack and two USB 3.0 ports so that you won’t have to reach around your iMac to plug in USB drives and additional peripherals. What makes the UNITI even cooler is the fact that it comes with two docks that can be attached to the front via magnets. These docks will either act as a cradle for you to prop up tablet or smartphone, or it can also act as a charger!

Now while it seems that the UNITI has been designed for Apple products in mind, fret not because the docks will also come in a micro USB option for you to charge other smartphones or tablets. The project has managed to raise close to $35,000 at this time of writing and with 19 days to go, there is a good chance it could hit its goal of $45,000. If you’d like to learn more or pledge your support, hit up its Kickstarter page for the details.
