survey iphone 6There are probably plenty of Android, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry users out there who would have bought an iPhone if only it had certain features. For example battery life and screen size have been some of the main reasons why customers have gone with other brands and platforms, although if the rumors are to be believed, a larger display and battery life have been rumored for the iPhone 6.

So with those issues addressed, will users of other platforms finally make the jump to the iPhone? Well in a survey conducted by Survata, it was found that amongst the other platforms, BlackBerry users appeared to be the most likely to switch to the iPhone 6. The survey asked if these users would be willing to switch to the iPhone 6 upon its release.

While BlackBerry users might have scored the highest, it was only at 6%. Android came in second place at 5%, with Windows Phone users showing off loyalty to their platform by coming in third at 3%. According to the company, “surprised by the utter lack of interest in Android owners switching over to the new iPhone.”

In contrast, iPhone 5 users were found to be the most likely to upgrade to the iPhone 6 at a whopping 36%. iPhone 5s users were less eager at 18%, although interestingly enough iPhone 5c users were even less eager at 15%, perhaps price could be a factor, but what do you guys think? Are you looking to switch to the iPhone 6 if the rumors about its specs and features are true?
