Some of you guys might recall that back in 2012, we reported on an iPhone case called the popSlate. This is basically a cover for the iPhone that gives it an e-paper display on the back of the phone, which is essentially a secondary display for iPhone users. Well the good news is that if you wanted the popSlate but for your iPhone 6, you’re in luck.

The company has recently introduced the popSlate which has been designed for the iPhone 6. Unfortunately there does not appear to be a model for the iPhone 6 Plus yet, so perhaps that might show up later. The popSlate will allow users to permanently show off an image of their choosing on the back of their phone via the e-paper display.

Alternatively the e-paper display will also allow the phone to display notifications that will help save you battery as it will not use the more battery-draining main display of your phone. Heck, it will even be able to display a digital boarding pass, so if you’re a frequent traveller, this might come in handy.

The company claims that the display should last users a week before requiring a recharge which is pretty impressive. It is priced at $129 so if you’d like to learn more or perhaps order one for yourself, head on over to its website for the details.
