wear-band-1600Most traditional watches are fixed in terms of its design, which in some cases is a good thing as it does create for a very recognizable image/look. However for those who love customizability, that’s where smartwatches shine as their faces can always be altered depending on your mood, not to mention it seems that strap changing is also a popular activity.

That being said if you are the proud owner of an Android Wear device, you might be interested to learn that Google has officially announced that they will be partnering up with more companies for official Android Wear straps that you can attach to your smartwatch. These new partnerships include options from E3 Supply Co., Worn & Wound, and Clockwork Synergy.

The straps will come in a variety of different designs and styles to suit your mood and your look of the day, and because Android Wear devices typically rely on the industry standard of 22mm bands, you should be able to fit these straps without any issue. You could always turn to non-official sources for your straps if these options don’t suit you, but we suppose there is some peace of mind knowing that these are officially supported by Google.

In the meantime, Google has also announced that there are over 1,000 different watch faces that users can choose from, so safe to say that users are definitely spoilt for choice.
