We’ve seen external storage devices created for smartphones, and we’ve seen battery packs made for mobile devices in mind, but it’s not often that we see the both combined and in such a stylish and portable packaged. This is where the OTG device comes in. It was recently launched on Indiegogo and basically it combines both a flash drive and a portable battery into one.

The device itself is made from aluminum thus ensuring a sturdy and premium build. It will also come with built-in Lightning and micro USB connectors so that it will play nicely with iOS devices and other devices that take advantage of the micro USB connection. It will also come with a USB 3.0 connector that will allow users to attach it to their computers or laptops to transfer data back and forth.

The OTG device will be available in three different storage options, such as 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB, with the 32GB priced at $199 and the 128GB going for $349, although pledging to its Indiegogo campaign will cost you much less. As for the battery portion of the OTG, given its size it’s not surprising that they only managed to squeeze 1,000mAh of battery in there which we reckon is still pretty decent and good for an emergency charge. Some battery is better than no battery, right?
