Apple’s new music streaming service is going to be launch in just about a week from now and the company is doing everything it can to get the word out about Apple Music. A good way to promote music streaming services is to bag exclusive tracks from some of the biggest artists on the planet, and Pharrell Williams certainly happens to be one. Pharrell’s new single “Freedom” will be an exclusive to Apple Music and it will launch alongside the service on June 30th.

Pharrell confirmed that his new single will be exclusive to Apple Music through a post on his Facebook page, though he didn’t clarify for how long the track will remain exclusive to Apple’s music streaming service.

The popular producer and artist also didn’t confirm if his next album will launch as an Apple Music exclusive as well, but since there’s some time left till the album arrive, I guess we might get this bit of information in due time.

Pharrell has had a long association with Apple, he was among the few A-list celebrities from the music industry who receive an Apple Watch weeks prior the official launch on April 24th.

His fans will certainly flock to Apple Music to check out his latest work, they’ll get a three month free trial on Apple Music before they’re required to pay.
