skype-iphoneIt was mentioned in September last year that Skype for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be released in October 2014, and here we are with the latest from Microsoft, which will introduce Skype for iPhone 5.13, where there will be a major change to the app, and that particular change happens to be the web link preview. Should you send or receive a web link in chat, you will then be treated to a preview of the content prior to opening up the link.

Not only that, folks should also be alerted that the app does already support the likes of the Apple Watch, and hence, you no longer need to take out your iPhone from your pocket should you want to want to check out what is the latest on a Skype chat right there on your Apple Watch, as you speak out a message before sending it. Alternatively, you can also utilize a response which was created prior.

Should someone call you over Skype, your Apple Watch will then offer you the option to accept or decline (which would be normal), and should you want to pick up the call, it will be routed straight to the iPhone. There will be in-app purchase options, just so you are well aware of the situation.
