apple watch

Ever since Apple started offering try on service for its first smartwatch at retail stores across the globe the company has required customers to first make an appointment, they couldn’t just walk into the store and expect to get some time with the Apple Watch. According to a new report this requirement is being removed starting this week which means that customers interested in checking out the Apple Watch can simply walk into an Apple Store and ask for a try on experience.

Staff at the store will cater to all customers walking in to try out the Apple Watch provided that staffers are available that and the try out table isn’t already full.

If customers like an Apple Watch during their try on experience they can provide their Apple ID to get reminded of their pick later on but this is also no longer a requirement.

Apple hasn’t said anything regarding this change of policy but given that the initial excitement and hype surrounding this product is long over and customers who really wanted to purchase one have probably picked one up, it can cater easily to crowds that just might be curious about the smartwatch and may not be immediately willing to spend their money on it.
