hots patchIt has been a while since Blizzard introduced the Monk hero to Heroes of the Storm. In fact it was about a couple of weeks ago when Blizzard shared the trailer for the hero, but the question is when can players finally play him? The good news is that you now can, thanks to Blizzard releasing the latest patch for the game.

If you haven’t fired up Heroes of the Storm yet, you should and you should also see a patch being applied to it. The patch, along with a host of other content and changes, will finally allow players to play as the Monk hero. The hero will cost players 10,000 gold to unlock, or if you’d rather not farm for gold, you can pay $10 to nab him straightaway.

Along with the introduction of the Monk, Blizzard is also bringing Dynamic Bundles to the game, which for those who missed our earlier report is basically bundles that are discounted if you already own one or two items/heroes from said bundle, thus making it more affordable and reducing redundancy in purchasing duplicate heroes or items.

Blizzard has also introduced new mounts like the Treasure Goblin and Malthael’s Phantom, although the latter is exclusive to Diablo 3 players who have hit level 70 with a Season Character. There has also been minor changes to the sounds of the game and the UI, all of which will hopefully result in a more pleasant experience.
