If you’ve not been able to find the digital version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 for Xbox One worry not because you’re certainly not alone. It appears that the digital version of this title for the Xbox One has been mysteriously pulled, it’s no longer available for pre-order either through Amazon.com and the Xbox Games Store, and to top it off there’s no official word from either Amazon or Microsoft explaining the reason behind this.

What’s odd is that digital download codes for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 are still available for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC versions of the game, it’s only the Xbox One version that has received this treatment and for no apparent reason why.

That’s not only, the season pass for this title on Xbox One has also disappeared from UK retailer GAME and once again there’s no explanation as to why this is happening.

The description for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on the official Xbox website now reads “Available at your local retailer for preorder” with similar language being used across the Xbox Games Store even though it was previously possible to purchase and pre-order this game digitally on Xbox One.

A spokesperson for Microsoft tells Polygon that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 pre-orders have temporarily been removed from the Xbox Store and that the company is “actively engaged” with Activision to return it as soon as possible.
