It looks like Microsoft has not quite forgotten about those who happen to want a phone and yet are on an extremely tight budget. Since action speaks far louder than words, the release of the Nokia 230 as well as the Nokia 230 Dual SIM happen to deliver a basic handset that also does its bit to keep up with the times – that is, enabling you to snap selfies regardless of the time of the day, and coming out looking rather dapper, we might add.

The Nokia 230 and Nokia 230 Dual SIM are a pair of new premium quality internet-enabled feature phones which will boast of two 2-megapixel cameras – with one of them located at the back in a traditional manner, while the other would be perfect for selfie lovers as it is located in front. Both cameras will boast of an LED flash in order to make sure that whether you want to snap in low light conditions during the day or somewhere dark at night, stuff will still get captured

Shooting a selfie is a snap – pardon the pun, as all that you need to do is to activate the camera via the shortcut camera key, look at your phone, smile and you’re good to go. You can even share the selfie with the rest of the world right after shooting it via the “share” button. The aluminium back cover that comes in silver or dark silver makes this a robust handset for sure. Expect the Nokia 230 and Nokia 230 Dual SIM to retail for $55 before taxes, and should hit the world from December onward in India, Asia, and the Middle East before other markets receive it next year.
