The Kickstarter hopeful Siam 7X might be worth checking out if you would like to venture into the (slight) unknown. This is a US startup that will feature a 4.7” E-Ink display that is bolstered with Gorilla Glass for added durability at the back, alongside a 5” 720 x 1280 resolution screen in front.
Underneath the hood, you will find an octa-core SoC alongside a 16MP camera, a rather innovative, if not quirky, biometric earprint recognition technology. Earprints? Now this is certainly a first!
