New Signature Touch for Bentley phone launchedVertu is a brand that many have come to associate with luxury smartphones, which also means that collaborating with other high-end brands is to be expected. Just last year, Vertu teamed up with Bentley to create the Vertu Signature, which is basically a feature phone with premium materials and the Bentley badge slapped on it.

If you were hoping for a smarter option, you’re in luck as Vertu is back with a new phone, the Vertu Signature Touch for Bentley. If you’re wondering why the name sounds so familiar, it is because late last year, Vertu launched a Signature Touch Android smartphone, so in reality this Bentley version is once again, just a rebadged Vertu device.

However this doesn’t mean that the device doesn’t pack a punch. The phone will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, which until the Snapdragon 820 comes out, is probably one of the best chipsets available for mobile devices today. It comes with 4GB of RAM, a 21MP rear-facing camera, and a 2MP front camera.

Apart from the specs, the phone also features (according to Vertu), “two-tone Beluga and Hotspur Bentley leather, with Hotspur stitching, the phone also features knurled side keys, a unique pillow rail and sound bar and a 3D Bentley logo. A unique Bentley app delivers exclusive content to customers, bringing the world of Bentley alive through tailored events, VIP access and special features designed to integrate the Signature Touch with the range of Bentley models.”

It will, however, not come cheap as it is priced starting at $9,000.
