instagramLast November, we reported that multi-user support was discovered in a beta version of Instagram for Android. However for some reason, Instagram quickly pulled the feature, which we can only imagine was because it was not ready yet. The good news is that according to reports, the feature is back.

Take note that multi-user support is only available in the beta version of Instagram for Android. This means that if you are running the full and latest version of the public release of Instagram, don’t expect to find this feature just yet. However it is possible that the feature could be ready for primetime soon.

A couple of days ago, it was reported that some iOS users were seeing the multi-user feature on their version of Instagram. This has since been confirmed to the folks at TechCrunch in which an Instagram spokesperson gave a boilerplate statement, claiming that Instagram does test new features from time to time.

In any case like we said, the appearance on both Android and iOS has led us to believe that Instagram might be getting pretty serious with this feature, as opposed to it being an experiment. It’s really anyone’s guess as to when it will be released, but for social media managers and users who have multiple Instagram accounts, this might just be the feature you’ve been waiting for.
