ff-xv-platinum-demoWhile I am pretty confident that many people have already enjoyed their time with the recently released Final Fantasy XV platinum demo, not to mention the Final Fantasy XV anime series, do bear in mind that the title is set to arrive on the Sony PS4 as well as the Xbox One. Wait a minute here, is something missing from the equation? Apparently so, as Square Enix is said to mull over the decision to roll out Final Fantasy XV for the PC – except that this will come after the launch of the PS4 and Xbox One versions.

The above information was gleaned from the game’s director Hajime Tabata, where he explained that Square Enix has not decided yet on whether to explore the PC platform as another avenue to release the game. Still, the company is touted to take a closer look at the PC platform, once the game has arrived on both current generation consoles.

Tabata continued, “Unfortunately we weren’t able to do simultaneous development on a PC and console version for XV. We had to focus on the console version and our goal was to maximize, optimize everything for the HD consoles. Once that’s done, then we will definitely take a good, hard look at PC and what we need to do, and consider all our options. But right now we aren’t decided, we’re still considering a lot of things.”

Fans, keep your fingers crossed!
