The HTC 10, with its very own “Boom” sound mechanism, is all but confirmed and set to arrive in due time, just about everyone and their uncle knows this. Slated for an April 12th release date, it will, in all probability, be hitting store shelves shortly afterwards.

Based on the rumors which we have heard so far, the HTC 10 will be powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow and accompanied by Sense 8.0 UI, at the same time boasting of a Quad HD display that will definitely be a step up from Full HD displays that we have all come to know (and perhaps, gotten so comfortable with).

HTC ROM developer @LlabTooFeR has more or less confirmed the existence of a Quad HD display and Sense 8.0 as you can see in the tweet right at the very top of the post, after unveiling what he claims to be “first Sense 8.0 wallpaper for Quad HD screens.” This particular wallpaper would be more or less similar to what has been spotted in earlier HTC 10 renders, and will most probably be available right out of the box alongside the handset. It has a resolution of 2880 x 2560 pixels just for your information.

Are you stoked with what HTC has in store?
