oneplus_GalleryAll smartphones come with camera these days, which also means that all smartphones also comes with a gallery app in which users will be able to browse their photos after taking them, as well as saved images. Now if you are a OnePlus 2 owner, you might be interested to learn that the company has recently launched a brand new Gallery app.

This app is currently available for the OnePlus 2, but it is expected to make its way to other OnePlus handsets in the future. No word on whether it will arrive for non-OnePlus handsets, but then again we guess there’s really no need for widespread availability since the gallery app isn’t really something to quibble over.

That being said, OnePlus is boasting that its Gallery app is a no-nonsense app. Basically it is an app that lets users browse photos and saved images, and that’s pretty much it. The app is smart enough to help users organize their own photos and will be able to generate collections for photos, kind of like how Google Photos is smart enough to recognize that certain photos are related to each other.

The app also comes with basic editing tools that lets you crop, resize, and draw on the photos, so if you wanted something more robust we reckon you’d have to look elsewhere. Like we said, the app is only available for the OnePlus 2, but if you are a OnePlus 2 owner and would like to check it out, head on over to the Google Play Store for the download.
