The Mirror’s Edge game is certainly a very different game from most FPS titles in the sense that it involves a lot of parkour, thus making it more dynamic and fun than just running around. Now last year DICE announced that the game would be getting a sequel in the form of Mirror’s Edge Catalyst and the good news is that the closed beta will be kicking off very soon.

The company has announced that the closed beta for the game will begin on the 22nd of April. According to the announcement, “If you have been selected for the Closed Beta and you are a Frontrunner, you will receive an email with your code on April 22nd. Others who made it into the Closed Beta will receive their code on April 23rd.”

Note that closed beta signups have already closed so if you did not sign up for it, we guess you’re out of luck and will just have to wait and see if DICE has plans to open it up again. However based on the announcement, those who have signed up should receive an email soon informing them on how to participate in the beta.

In the meantime for those who did not get into the beta, we guess it’s not too bad considering that the game will be released next month. The game was originally pegged for a release in February but that date has since been shifted to May, the 24th of May, 2016 to be exact.
