AT&T is expanding its smartphone and tablet lineup later this week with the addition of an affordable smartphone and tablet from LG. The LG K10 smartphone and LG G Pad X 8.0 tablet is going to be available from the country’s second largest carrier starting Friday, July 22nd. Customers can purchase one or both of these devices from the carrier’s retail stores across the country or through its website.

The LG K10 smartphone can be purchased on the AT&T Next plan for $6 per month for 30 months while the LG G Pad X 8.0 tablet can be picked up for $49.99 with a two-year contract.

These devices aren’t exceptional by any means. The K10 features a 5.3 inch HD display, an 8 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera, 32GB onboard storage with microSD card support and a removable 2,300mAh battery. It also features Advanced Messaging, Video Calling, and Wi-Fi Calling support.

The G Pad X has an 8 inch display and comes with a dedicated DIRECTV button which gives instant access to the TV service, the tablet can also be used to make and receive video calls using the same number as the smartphone courtesy of AT&T NumberSync.

Both of these devices will be available for purchase via AT&T stores and online starting Friday, July 22nd.
